This Privacy Policy statement discloses FileJumbo's privacy practices and is incorporated into and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Use. By entering into the Agreement, you expressly consent to FileJumbo's use and disclosure of Your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Information Collection and Use: FileJumbo is the sole owner of the information collected from its Users. Except as required by law, subpoena or court order, FileJumbo will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Content Providers. The Content Provider must provide contact and other identifying information on the submission form. This information is used to enforce FileJumbo's Policy Against Copyright Infringement and its Terms of Service.
Cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the User's hard drive containing information about the User. Cookies identify the User for our database, but provide no information other than that which You have already provided FileJumbo. For instance, by setting a cookie on this site, the User would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on the site. If a User rejects the cookie, they may still use the site. The User, however, will be limited in some areas of the site. Cookies can also enable FileJumbo to track and target the interests of the Users to enhance their experience on the site. Some of FileJumbo's business partners use cookies and action tags (also known as single pixel gifs or web beacons) on the site for purposes such as serving ads and measuring advertising effectiveness. FileJumbo, however, has no access to or control over their use of these cookies and is not responsible for the data collected through these cookies, or how any such collected data is used or shared by FileJumbo's business partners. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies and action tags is completely anonymous.
Log Files. FileJumbo uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track User. IP addresses are linked to personally identifiable information for security and operational purposes only.
Correspondence. FileJumbo may retain correspondence from Users for tracking purposes only and, except as required by law or to assist in enforcing the Agreement, will not use it for any secondary purpose or to send You unsolicited electronic mail.
Use of Personal Information. FileJumbo will not give, sell, rent, share, or trade any personal information about You to third parties or provide Your personal information, including your name or electronic mail address, to third parties except as required by law, subpoena or court order. FileJumbo may disclose Your username, name, address, electronic mail, and other personal information as it believes necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation for fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other illegal activity as well as dispute resolution and enforcement of the Agreement. FileJumbo will share aggregated demographic information with its partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. FileJumbo uses an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill Users for goods and services. FileJumbo may partner with other parties to provide specific services. When the User signs up for these services, FileJumbo will share names or other contact information as necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
No Warranties. Due to technical, legal and practical limitations, FileJumbo cannot warrant and does not guarantee, and You should not expect, that all of Your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. FileJumbo may disclose information to governmental authorities or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. You authorize FileJumbo to disclose any information about You to law enforcement or other government officials as FileJumbo, in its sole discretion, believes necessary, prudent or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, or other activity that is illegal or may expose FileJumbo to legal liability.
The following rules are required in the use of FileJumbo powered by FileJumbo. Failure to abide by these rules may result in an interruption or cancellation of service.
1. No copyright infringement.
Do not store or distribute copyrighted material if you do not have the right to do so.
2. No account sharing.
You may not share your account with other people. Please keep your password private.
3. Do not circumvent Free account download restrictions.
Any attempt to circumvent free trial account restrictions will result in a permanent banishment from the FileJumbo community. This includes (3a) files with an invalid or disguised file format; (3b) encryption; (3c) steganography and/or (3d) creating multiple free accounts.
3a. No invalid file formats.
Please do not upload files with an invalid extension or in an invalid format for the purpose of circumventing FileJumbo's rules. All files that do not match their file extension or type will be deleted. For example, an MPG file labeled as a TXT file will be deleted (and vise-versa).
3b. No multiple free accounts.
Do not create more than one free account. If you need more bandwidth, upgrade to a subscription account.
4. No prohibited content.
Do not upload any prohibited content, including anything that even remotely resembles child pornography. Any suspect files are turned over to the appropriate authorities and/or to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
You shall not use FileJumbo's services to transmit, transfer or convey Public Content that might be illegal or otherwise damaging to FileJumbo, its users, or others.
No Public Content (or any portion thereof) shall:
- Infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy;
- Divulge information that You do not have a right to divulge due to a contractual, fiduciary, or privileged relationship;
- Violate any state or United States law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including without limitation those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
- Be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing;
- Be false, inaccurate or misleading;
- Be fraudulent or incorporate counterfeit or stolen items or property;
- Promote physical harm or injury or otherwise advocate violence against or unreasonable hostility toward people or groups based on their race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, or disability;
- Instruct, aid, abet, or promote any illegal activity including, without limitation, instructions on constructing explosive or incendiary devices; growing or producing controlled substances, or counterfeiting currency, passports, drivers. licenses, etc;
- Contain child pornography. It is a federal crime to buy or sell child pornography as defined in United States Code, Title 18, Chapter 110 - Sexual Exploitation and Other Abuse of Children. ANY CONTENT THAT FileJumbo CONSTRUES AS CHILD PORNOGRAPHY WILL BE IMMEDIATELY FORWARDED TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES.
- Contain any viruses, Trojan Horses, Worms, Time Bombs, or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information;
- Provide advice for which any jurisdiction requires a professional license to disseminate including, but not limited to, legal, or medical advice;
- Create liability for FileJumbo or cause FileJumbo to lose (in whole or in part) the services of its advertisers, service providers or suppliers; or
- Link directly or indirectly to or include descriptions of goods or services that are prohibited under this Agreement
This Prohibited Content policy precludes the use of FileJumbo's services to transmit, transfer or receive electronic or other data that comprises or depicts any of the foregoing, as well as similar Public Content. You are responsible for complying with the rules, terms and conditions outlined in the User Agreement and this Prohibited Public Content policy.
